Before you decide

The questions people actually ask us

Nothing, until you say so. We take no card to start the trial, so there is nothing to charge when it ends — access simply pauses until you choose a plan. We would rather you decided Ryts had earned its keep than discovered a charge you had forgotten about.

From your own account page, in one click — there is no notice period, no retention call and no form designed to be hard to find. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

By card or instant EFT through PayFast, a South African payment provider, in rand. Ryts never sees or stores your card details — the payment happens on PayFast's own page and they tell us only whether it succeeded.

No — and we will say so before you get there. RYTS does not offer legal advice, is not a law firm, does not represent you and does not appear for you. What it does is show you the law that applies and the steps you can take yourself, and tell you plainly at the point where an attorney is genuinely needed.

Questions on the forum are visible to other members — that is rather the point, since somebody else has usually been where you are. Ryts Chat is not: those conversations are yours. Use as much or as little detail as you are comfortable with; we never publish your address and we never sell it.

It is where Ryts started and it is still the best way to see whether we're worth it.

You're on the list — thank you.

We'll never sell your address. Ever.
